Non-exempt (hourly) employees may schedule up to 3 Floating Holidays each year. If you join VMware during the year, Floating Holidays are pro-rated as follows:

Part-time non-exempt (hourly) employees are granted Floating Holidays with pro-rated hours per day based on their standard work week. Any unused Floating Holidays at the end of the year will not be carried over to the following year. Floating Holidays are not paid out if you leave VMware.
Scheduling a Floating Holiday
- Discuss your Floating Holiday in advance with your manager. You will need to work with your manager prior to reporting your Floating Holiday time in Workday [VMware network access required]. Floating Holiday time can be used only after manager approval.
- Enter your Floating Holiday time in Workday. After manager approval, go into Workday [VMware network access required] to report your Floating Holiday time.
