Workers’ Compensation Leave

VMware provides a comprehensive Workers’ Compensation Insurance program at no cost to you. This program covers any injury or illness sustained in the course of employment that requires medical, surgical or hospital treatment.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have a life threatening injury or illness, please call 911 immediately. (If at a VMware location dial 9+911).

Reporting a Work Related Injury or Illness

Dell Technologies, which includes VMware, has hired CorVel to administer workers’ compensation claims. If you are injured, follow the below steps:

  1. Tell your manager and call 855.730.4919. A registered nurse will help evaluate the nature of your incident, determine immediate care and ensure the incident is reported. Please note, you may need to indicate during your intake call that VMware is a part of Dell Technologies.
  2. You will receive a letter in the mail with your CorVel examiner’s contact information.
  3. CorVel and VMware will make every effort to work with you in returning you to your job.
