Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP), managed by CONCERN: EAP, is available at no charge to you and helps VMware employees be at their best, physically and emotionally. CONCERN: EAP confidentially provides you and your family members with objective, third-party support and advice for navigating life’s challenges — including marital and relationship issues, alcoholism, drug dependency, work-life balance, stress, financial management and much more.

CONCERN: EAP services feature confidential one-on-one counseling and a video library, including:

  • Face-to-face therapist visits for you and your family members
  • Referrals for child or elder care
  • Referrals for preschool, summer camp and college planning
  • Financial and legal services

All VMware employees are eligible for up to 5 no-cost personal counseling sessions per event, per year. Depending on your situation, you may be referred to other providers for further counseling or assistance after your CONCERN: EAP counseling sessions have been exhausted. If you choose to use additional services, you will be responsible for any expenses incurred, although your VMware medical plan may cover some of the costs.

CONCERN: EAP is available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week, so that they are available when you need them most.
