Vacation
Vacation allows you time away from work to relax, travel and enjoy time with family. If your absence is due to an illness or injury, you should refer to the Medical Leave or Sick Time page.
Entitlement
You are entitled to Vacation time based on your tenure with VMware:
Vacation Accrual
| Seniority | Vacation Period | Equivalent in Consecutive Days | Equivalent in Business Days |

| 0 to 5 Years | 3 Weeks | 21 Days | 15 Days |
| 5 to 10 Years | 4 Weeks | 28 Days | 20 Days |
| 10 to 20 Years | 5 Weeks | 35 Days | 25 Days |
| 20 + Years | 6 Weeks | 42 Days | 30 Days |
Scheduling Vacation
- Discuss your Vacation plans, in advance, with your manager. While business requirements must be taken into consideration, your manager will work with you to ensure that work load does not restrict you from taking Vacation.
- Once agreed with your manager, enter your Vacation Time in Workday [VMware network access required].
