In special circumstances, VMware may decide to grant unpaid Personal Leave to employees on a case-by-case basis at its sole discretion. Considerations include the length of leave required, the purpose of the leave and the impact of such leave to VMware’s business.
All employees of VMware Taiwan may apply for unpaid Personal Leave up to fourteen (14) days.
Scheduling Personal Leave
You should inform your manager and HR Source  [VMware network access required] of your desire to take a Personal Leave so that proper arrangements can be made prior to the leave period.
