VMware provides a collective health insurance plan for all regular employees through Länförsäkringar. The plan is a supplementary care plan which does not replace the services provided through the National Medical Care plan.
Coverage includes consultation with a doctor, medication, hospital care, operations and medical rehabilitation.
VMware pays 100% of the premium costs for Medical insurance, however, you will pay benefit tax on 60% of the paid premium.
If you wish to include a spouse/partner, you will be responsible for the premium costs for their coverage, through net salary deduction.
Coverage will begin on your first day of active work as a VMware employee. Coverage for your spouse/partner will begin once you enrol them and Länförsäkringar has approved the application, provided you enrol them within 30 calendar days of your start date.
Coverage for you and your spouse/partner under the VMware Healthcare plan will end on the last day of your employment with VMware.
