VMware provides Life and Accidental Death Insurance through Renaissance Heath (a.k.a. Welbi).

Eligibility

All regular VMware employees are eligible for Life and Accidental Death Insurance.

Benefits

If you should die, or become permanently disabled due to an accident, while in the service of VMware due to illness or injury you and/or your beneficiaries will receive a lump sum payment according to the following schedule if you should:

• Die while in the service of VMware due to illness or injury
• Become permanently disabled due to an accident (categories I, II and III) or sickness/illness (category I, new – starting June 1^st, 2020)

Death Benefit:

Sum insured 2 x yearly insured salary (cap 40 mil Rub).

100 % of the Sum Assured is payable to the heirs under the civil legislation or to formally designated Beneficiaries.

When Coverage Begins

You will be automatically enrolled into the Life and Accidental Death Insurance plan from your first date of employment.

Coverage will begin on your first day of active work as a VMware employee.

Contributions

VMware pays 100% of the premium cost for the Life and Accidental Death Insurance.

When Coverage Ends

Coverage will end on the last day of your employment with VMware.
