VMware provides Hajj Leave in accordance with statutory requirements.
Employees who have been employed continuously by the Company for at one year, may take up to 30 days’ paid Time Off to perform a pilgrimage to Mecca or Jerusalem. This Time Off may only be taken once during the employee’s employment with the Company.
Scheduling Hajj Leave
- Discuss your Hajj Leave plans in advance with your manager. While business requirements must be taken into consideration, your manager will work with you to ensure that workload does not restrict you from taking Hajj Leave.
- Once agreed with your manager, enter your Hajj Leave time off in Workday  [VMware network access required] under time off type Religious Obligation Time Off (Days).
