In special circumstances, VMware will grant additional Unpaid Leave to employees for appropriate reasons acceptable to the Company. As a guide, the leave needs to be reasonable and possible without negatively impacting VMware’s ability to execute its business.
Regular full-time employees are entitled to unpaid leave.
You must exhaust your Annual Time Off entitlement, or any other appropriate leave entitlements, prior to applying for Unpaid Leave.
Scheduling Unpaid Leave
All unpaid leave requests must be made in writing and submitted to your manager 3 months prior to the proposed date of leave.
