Marriage Leave

VMware provides Marriage Leave in accordance with statutory requirements, so you can take​  some additional time to enjoy your wedding. 

Entitlement 

VMware provides one (1) day paid Marriage Leave for obtaining a Wedding Permit and for the marriage of a family member, including a parent, sibling or child. VMware provides an additional two (2) paid days of Marriage Leave for your own marriage. 

Scheduling Marriage Leave 

• Discuss your Marriage Leave plans in advance with your manager. While business requirements must be taken into consideration, your manager will work with you to ensure that work load does not restrict you from taking Marriage Leave.
• Once agreed with your manager, enter your Marriage Leave time off in Workday [VMware network access required] under time off type Marriage Time Off (Hours).
