Family Care Leave

VMware is dedicated to work-life balance and offers a family-friendly environment that is supportive of working parents. VMware provides Family Care Leave in accordance with statutory requirements so that you can take the necessary time off work to care for your sick child. 

Entitlement 

Under the Work and Care Act, you are entitled to take a maximum of two (2) weeks Family Care Leave per calendar year, to look after yousick child living at home, or your own parents, or your partner. VMware will pay 70% of the (minimum) wage during your Family Care Leave. Under the Work and Care Act, you are entitled to take a maximum of six (6) weeks unpaid leave (on a part-time basis if possible) per calendar year, to look after sick children, parents, or your partner with a life-threatening disease.
