Congratulations! This is an exciting and rewarding time for you, here is a checklist of the benefit changes you might want to consider and resources that VMware provides.
Benefits
Changes and elections for most of the VMware benefit plans are made at annual enrollment; however, birth or adoption is considered a qualified life event. You must make changes within 30 days of the date of the qualified life event. You are eligible to make the following changes:
- Enroll your child in health insurance via My Life [VMware network access required].
- Update your life insurance beneficiary information via My Life [VMware network access required].
Time Away
Planning time away from work to care for and bond with your child is an important consideration. There are a number of leave options available to you, be sure to review the details for eligibility requirements:
