In order to ensure your peace of mind as well as our own, VMware provides employees worldwide with comprehensive travel insurance and assistance. Below is an overview of what the different programs provide:

1 Should you need to purchase coverage for personal travel (not included in the Business Travel Programs), one option that you may consider is HTH Travel Insurance.
Business Travel Accident Insurance (BTA)
If you are a regular employee normally scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week, you are automatically covered under Business Travel Accident (BTA) insurance at no cost to you. Under our BTA insurance, if you are injured or become deceased as the result of an accident while travelling on VMware business, whether within your home country or abroad, Gerber Life will pay a lump sum benefit of 2 times your base annual earnings up to US$500,000 to either you or your named beneficiary.
Medical Benefits Abroad
GeoBlue Business Traveler provides VMware employees with comprehensive medical insurance for your short-term business travel outside your country of residence. This coverage is automatically provided to all employees who are traveling away from their permanent assignment for business purposes.
The GeoBlue Business Traveler benefits provides full medical coverage no matter where in the world your business travel takes you. The coverage extends for the full duration of the business trip and leisure travel taken in conjunction with your business trip. Coverage is also provided for your spouse and/or partner and eligible dependent children that may accompany you on a business trip.

International SOS
International SOS (ISOS) provides medical, security and logistical expertise to help safeguard you while you travel abroad. Conveniently dial one phone number that will connect you to the ISOS network of medical and professional service teams that operates 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, all over the world. - Before you travel outside your home country, prepare yourself by logging onto the International SOS website (Membership #11BYCA758955) where you can sign up for health and security email alerts or review country specific reports that will help you be an informed traveler. Print the ISOS Membership Card, including membership number, phone numbers, and website or download the ISOS SmartPhone App.
- While abroad, let ISOS help you locate a qualified health care provider, receive a prescription or simply answer any general medical or security concern you may have.
- In an emergency, ISOS can ensure you get immediate care whether it requires evacuating you to a center of medical excellence or closely monitoring your condition with local doctors. Keep in mind; they can also take care of all the details associated with your situation such as making travel arrangements for family members so you can focus on getting better.
