Family Planning

Adoption/Surrogacy Assistance [9]

The U.S. Adoption and Surrogacy Assistance Program helps to cover expenses associated with adopting a child eighteen years or younger or when using a surrogate to assist in carrying and giving birth to your child.

Kaiser Fertility & Family Planning [10]

This medical plan offers fertility services and related treatments to members at 50% coinsurance per visit.

Progyny Fertility and Family Building Benefits [11]

VMware understands the importance of starting a family. If you are enrolled in the United Healthcare HSA PPO or United Healthcare Traditional PPO plans, you are eligible to use the fertility/infertility and family planning benefits offered by Progyny.

Maven: 24/7 Support for Family Planning and Fertility [11]

This insurance plan helps you and your family members pay for routine legal matters, such as adopting a child, guardianships, name changes, prenuptial agreements, and more.

  • Funeral Directive – legally document your partner’s rights to to make decisions regarding funeral arrangements.
  • Gender identifier Change – legal services for a member to change their gender identity on government-issued documents

  • Post-nuptial agreements – legal services to prepara a post- nuptial agreement

Bereavement [13]

By embracing an inclusive definition of family, we’re able to offer employees a more comprehensive Global Bereavement Policy. This includes up to 20 paid days of time off to grieve the loss of anyone you love, as well as two paid days of time off to grieve for your family pet.

Lyra [14] is available at no charge and connects employees and their dependents to mental and emotional healthcare that is confidential, effective, convenient, and personalized. Lyra [14] can help with stress, anxiety, depression, communication issues, sleep disorders, and other common issues that can be addressed through services such as therapy, coaching, medication management, or mental wellness tools.
