Lyra and ICAS is available at no charge and connect employees and their dependents to mental and emotional wellbeing support that is confidential, effective, convenient, and personalized. Lyra and ICAS can help with stress, anxiety, depression, communication issues, sleep disorders, and other common issues that can be addressed through services such as therapy, coaching, or self-directed mental wellness tools.

Lyra and ICAS services feature confidential one-on-one counseling, referrals and tools including:
- 12 sessions with a coach or therapist for you and your family members
- Access to high quality care from quality providers
- Online tools and wellbeing resources i.e. Lyra Essentials, Healthy Minds App
- Work Life services and referrals including financial, legal, and dependent care
All VMware employees and your household family members are eligible for up to 12 no-cost, confidential counseling sessions per year. These services are available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week, so that they are available when you need them most. Depending on your situation, you may be referred to other providers for further counseling or assistance after your Lyra and ICAS counseling sessions have been exhausted. If you choose to use additional services, you will be responsible for any expenses incurred, although your VMware medical plan  may cover some of the costs.
