VMware provides Marriage Leave in accordance with statutory and NCBA requirements, so you can take some additional time to enjoy your wedding.
If you are not on your probationary period, you are entitled to fifteen (15) days (120 hours) of paid Marriage Leave for your own wedding. The leave can be taken from three days before your wedding and should be used within one year of your wedding.
Scheduling Marriage Leave
- Discuss your Marriage Leave plans in advance with your manager. While business requirements must be taken into consideration, your manager will work with you to ensure that work load does not restrict you from taking Marriage Leave.
- Once agreed with your manager, enter your Marriage Leave time off in Workday  [VMware network access required] under time off type Marriage Time Off (Hours). You may record your leave in blocks of 8 hours (1 day) or 4 hours (half day).
