Election Leave

VMware encourages you to fulfill your civic responsibilities by participating in elections. VMware provides Election Leave in accordance with statutory and NCBA requirements.

Entitlement

You are entitled to two (2) days (16 hours) of paid Election Leave.

Scheduling Election Leave

Discuss your Election Leave plans in advance with your manager. While business requirements must be taken into consideration, your manager will work with you to ensure that work load does not restrict you from taking Election Leave.
Once agreed with your manager, enter your Election Leave time off in Workday [VMware network access required] under time off type Civic/Jury/Court Time Off (Hours). You may record your leave in blocks of 8 hours (1 day) or 4 hours (half day).
