Anti-Money Laundering Regulation
- Due to a new Anti-Money Laundering regulation that has been put in force in Italy, we are required to ask all VMware Italian Non-Dirigenti employees to provide us with either their Identity Card or Passport details.
- The new regulation was put in place by the Italian Insurance Supervisory Authority (IVASS) and collecting this information is therefore mandated by law. We would like to advise that we will only share this information with our broker Marsh in order to make sure that all our benefits are and remain compliant with Italian law. In case of a claim, Marsh will then have to provide this information to the insurer.
- Please note, this law states that the data must be maintained on an ongoing basis, therefore, we ask that you inform HR should the document type you provide (ID or Passport) expire and you receive a new one.
