Special Leave

Marriage Leave 

You may be granted one (1) day of Special Leave with pay for your ​Marriage.

Jury Duty 

If you are called for Jury Duty, please contact HR Source [VMware network access required].

Scheduling Special Leave 

• Discuss your Special Leave plans in advance with your manager. If an absence is unexpected, you should notify your manager or HR Source [VMware network access required], as soon as possible.
• Once agreed with your manager:
  • Enter your Marriage Leave time off in Workday [VMware network access required] under time off type Marriage Time Off (Hours).
  • Enter your Jury Duty time off in Workday [VMware network access required] under time off type Civic/Jury/Court Time Off (Hours).
  • Complete a Special Leave Application submit it to HR Source [VMware network access required].
