Marriage Leave

Congratulations! VMware knows that getting married is a very exciting time and provides Marriage Leave so you can have some additional time to enjoy your wedding.

Entitlement

VMware provides four (4) paid calendar days of Marriage Leave to be taken within one (1) month of registration or within one (1) month of your ceremony. Your registration date must be within your employment with VMware.

Scheduling Marriage Leave

• Discuss your Marriage Leave plans with your manager. While business requirements must be taken into consideration, your manager will work with you to ensure that work load does not restrict you from taking Marriage Leave.
• After manager approval, go into Workday [VMware network access required] to report your Marriage Leave time under Marriage Time Off. Workday [VMware network access required] will display leave in hourly basis. You may record your leave in blocks of 8 hours (1 day) or 4 hours (half day).
