VMware provides Health Insurance through Malakoff Humanis (MH).

Eligibility

All regular employees and their qualified dependents. Participation in the plan is mandatory.

Benefits

Hospitalisation

  •  Hospitalisation:
    • Conventioned Sector: 100% of actual cost up to 400% of the SST (Social Security Tariff)
    • Non-Conventioned Sector: 95% of actual cost up to 400% of the SST (Social Security Tariff) 
  • Surgery:
    • Conventioned Sector: 100% of actual cost up to 300% of the SST (Social Security Tariff)
    • Non-Conventioned Sector: 130% of the SST (Social Security Tariff) 
  • Miscellaneous Fees:
    • Conventioned Sector: 300% of the SST (Social Security Tariff)
    • Non-Conventioned Sector: 130% of the SST (Social Security Tariff)

Complementary Coverage

  • Private room, including maternity: 3% of MSSC (Monthly Social Security Ceiling) per day
  • Daily hospital fee: 100% of actual cost
  • Maternity: 22% of MSSC 
  • Extra bed for child under age 16: 2% of MSSC per day

Routine Care

  • Conventioned Sector: Consultation, call-outs: 300% of the SST (Social Security Tariff)
  • Non-Conventioned Sector: 130% of the SST (Social Security Tariff)
  • Conventioned Sector: Small Surgery: 300% of the SST (Social Security Tariff)
  • Non-Conventioned Sector: 130% of the SST (Social Security Tariff)
  • Ostéopathy: €46 per consultation limited to 3 consultations per year per beneficiary
  • Laboratory, Analyses, Radiology: 300% of the SST
  • Thermal Cures: 25% MSSC

Pharmacy

  • Prescribed vaccine not refunded by Social Security: 6% MSSC per year per beneficiary
  • Contraceptive Pill: 2% MSSC per year per beneficiary

 Note: MSSC can also be referred to as PMSS (Plafond Mensuel de la Securite Sociale)

Enrolment

To enrol, you must complete and return the Health Insurance enrolment form sent to you by HR Source [VMware network access required] within 30 days of your start date.

Pre-Existing Conditions

Pre-existing conditions are covered under the plan.

Contributions

VMware pays 60% of the premium cost for the health insurance for you and your eligible dependents.

Coverage Begins

Coverage for you and your dependents under the health insurance will begin on your first day of active work as a VMware employee, provided you enrol within 30 days of your start date.

Coverage Ends

Coverage for you and your dependents under the VMware health insurance will end on the last day of your employment with VMware.
