Critical Illness

VMware provides Critical Illness Insurance through Forende Gruppeliv.

Eligibility

All regular employees of VMware are eligible for Critical Illness insurance from the first day of active work as a VMware employee.

Benefits

If you are diagnosed with a terminal or Critical Illness, you will receive a lump sum payment (212.907 DKK in 2020).

Enrolment

You are automatically enrolled in the Critical Illness insurance.

Pre-Existing Conditions

Pre-existing conditions are not excluded by the insurance.

Contributions

VMware pays 100% of the premium costs for your coverage. Please note, the premium cost for this benefit is communicated to payroll and added to your taxable income.

When Coverage Begins

Coverage will begin on your first day of active work as a VMware employee.

When Coverage Ends

Coverage will end on the last day of your employment with VMware.
