VMware provides Parental Leave in accordance with statutory requirements so that you can take the necessary time off work to care of your child.
The Parental leave can be taken by the mother or father – you can decide you how wish to divide this period.
The parental leave entitlement is granted to the mother or to the father as of the child’s birth date, in the scope as requested by them, up until the child reaches the age of three. Parental leave can be requested in multiple intervals and doesn’t have to be taken at once and both parents can take parental leave at the same time (for example, the father may take parental leave during the period when a female employee takes maternity leave).
Payment during Shared Parental Leave
The Parental Leave is unpaid by the Company. During Parental Leave you will receive statutory Parental Leave entitlement only.
Scheduling Shared Parental Leave
You should notify your manager and HR Source  of your plans as soon as reasonably possible, so that proper arrangements can be made prior to your leave period.

Returning to Work
While on Parental Leave you should maintain open communication with your manager and HR Source EMEA regarding your return to work plans.
