VMware is committed to your health and well-being. For this reason, we have a partnership with Hospital Metropolitano to provide you with on-site, primary, extended and virtual medical care with highly qualified professionals.
At the facility, you have access to general examinations, follow-up appointments, first-aid, authorized medical leave and much more.
The on-site nurse is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.
On-site doctor services are available to VMware employees on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1:00 pm – 3:40 pm. Appointments are typically 20 minutes in length.

Primary Medical Care
Primary medical care is a service that the Instituto Nacional de Seguros (INS) offers which is made up of selected providers who provide the general medicine service at no cost as part of VMWare’s medical insurance.

Extended Medical Care – Hospital Metropolitano
In case you wish to do personally visit a doctor, we now have the option to do so at any of Hospital Metropolitano’s medical centers throughout the country.
To use this service:
• Please first review the Extended Medical Care (Atencion Medica Extendida)  [VMware network access required] information for instructions.
• Schedule the appointment via their call center at 2521-9595.
• Upon arrival at the medical center, you must present, your identification and VMWARE badge.
The INS provides this service to our employees by scheduling an appointment via their online application, INS 24/7, on Android or IOS, or by visiting their Website.
