Extended Medical Plan
For employees who wish to cover dependents that do not qualify as eligible dependents into the Medical Plan, VMware offers a partnership with Colsanitas to offer extended medical coverage at special rates for employees.
Employees may take advantage of this plan to enroll relatives such as parents, in-laws, siblings, among other.
Costs are 100% employee paid through Payroll deductions.
All active employees of VMware are eligible upon date of hire to enroll their desired dependents into this plan.

For new hires, during Day 1 onbarding. a Mercer Marsh representative will provide you with the forms in case you wish to enroll any dependent into this plan.
Regular employees who wish to enroll any dependent under this plan can contact Mercer Marsh to fill the required froms and proceed with the enrollment.
