Jury Duty

VMware encourages you to fulfill your civic responsibilities by serving Jury Duty.

Entitlement

If you receive a summons for Jury Duty, you are entitled to a leave of absence with pay. A copy of the summons must be provided to HR Source [VMware network access required]. You will not be required to pay VMware any Jury Duty pay you receive.

If your absence would result in hardship to VMware, the company reserves the right to petition the court to excuse you from Jury Duty. The court may agree to postpone your attendance to a later date depending on the circumstances involved.

Scheduling Jury Duty

• Discuss your Jury Duty, in advance, with your manager.
• Go into Workday [VMware network access required] to report your Jury Duty.
