VMware provides you with private Dental Insurance through Omint .
All regular full-time employees and their qualified dependents are eligible. Qualified dependents include spouse, domestic partner, children, step-children until 21 years old, and students until 24 years old.
Participants can access dental care through the Omint Network or can request reimbursement medical care provided outside the Omint Network.
In order to receive reimbursement for dental care received outside the Omint Network you will need to submit your expenses to Omint for reimbursement. Check out the Reimbursement Guide  for more details.
Omint  offers comprehensive dental coverage including the following services:
- Dental emergencies
- Preventive dentistry
- Oral surgery
- Restorative Dentistry
- Pediatric Dentistry
- Orthodontics and Functional Orthopedics
If you wish to enroll in the VMware dental plan, you must do so within 30 days of your start date. Coverage is effective on your date of hire. You can enroll in the Omint dental plan through MyLife  [VMware network access required] during your first 30 days. It can take up to 5 business days from the time you complete your enrollment for VMware to receive your unique Omint ID Number.
VMware will pay 100% of the premium costs for you and your eligible dependents.
When Coverage Begins
Coverage for you and your dependents will begin on your first day of active work as a VMware employee, provided you enroll within 30 calendar days of your start date.
When Coverage Ends
Coverage for you and your dependents under the VMware Dental plan will end on the last day of the month in which your employment with VMware ends.
