Marriage Leave

The VMware Austrian employment contract is based on the collective bargaining agreement for commerce. This allows employees entitlement to Marriage Leave on full pay.

Entitlement

• Three (3) paid days for your own marriage
• One (1) paid day for the marriage of your child(ren) or close relatives (brothers, sisters)

Scheduling Marriage Leave

• Discuss your Marriage Leave plans, in advance, with your manager. While business requirements must be taken into consideration, your manager will work with you to ensure that work load does not restrict you from taking Marriage Leave.
• Once agreed with your manager, enter your Marriage Leave time off in Workday [VMware network access required] under time off type Marriage Time Off (Days).
